INTERIORS
by Danny Keays
Since the early 90's, as an interior decorator and decorative artist, I had the opportunity to create cozy interiors and inviting atmospheres for restaurants, bars and other businesses.
The Wolf and Hound Irish Pub in Vancouver, Canada, is one of them.
THE WOLF AND HOUND
Irish Pub & Restaurant
3617 W Broadway, Vancouver, Canada.
An interior by
Danny Keays, 2002
Back in 2002, I was contacted by local business woman Jackie Metzler, who after viewing my portfolio gave me a mission :
Turning a boring Greek restaurant into a cozy inviting Irish pub.
Following four weeks of working on colors, wall finishes, woodgraining, lighting, focal points, fabrics, furniture, accessories, storefront, the Wolf and Hound came to reality. The rest is history.
The Wolf and Hound Irish Pub has been entertaining and feeding the young and old
for the last 22 years now, allowing a trip to the old world, the time of a pint or two.
I have always loved Irish Pubs.
I have created the interior of the Wolf and Hound to be a cozy, warm, comforting Pub
where I would, myself, want to hang out for hours and enjoy a few pints.
And I certainly did !
But …
!
Sláinte !
